MEANWHILE.....IN A HIDDEN PLUMBERS' BASE...... ( )

Cineris and the others led Big-Chill into a large room that was mainly occupied by dozens of monitors and computers. A large, oval steel table with 10 maroon leather, cushion chairs encircling it sat in the dead center of the room.

Big-Chill sat in one of the chairs as Cineris, Zirneklis, Citatus, and Lupus sat in the other ones. Izac stood on the table, since he was just a mere 5 inches tall.

Big-Chill glared at the aliens dully. He wanted to be out looking for his fiance....not sitting in a teched-out secret base with other aliens.

"So who's gonna be the one to tell me what's going on here?" Big-Chill muttered, trying to keep his temper down.

Zirneklis pushed a bright, blue button on one of the computer modules. The snowy screen came to life, giving off a faint, light blue glow as the picture of a grey-skinned alien with three, violet eyes appeared on the monitor.

Big-Chill recognized him as a Highbreed, which was surprising since he thought that most of them had turned over a new leaf after having their DNA reconfigured.

"Just be patient, Artiku...." Zirneklis sighed.

"It's BIG-CHILL!" the Necrofriggian snapped quickly, not liking his real name.

"Whatever....anyways" Zirneklis continued, looking up at the monitor and pointing. "This is Rahnkor and, as you may have already guessed, is a Highbreed."

"An Ectonurite/Highbreed hybrid to be exact," Isaac chimed in "Intell revealed that he is a mercenary of a greater, more deterious being. Identity is unknown but whoever Rahnkor works for is bad news! Plus....the reason he kidnapped your Sapphire as well as our mates is......"

Isaac hesitated for a moment before finishing, "Is so they would become the eternal slaves to his master. Plus one of them will be forced to be his new wife, or face certain death!"

Big-Chill's eyes went wide and he felt a sickening lump in his throat.

*Sapphire.....* he thought grimly......
