Link, my Swampert

Swampert, the Mud Fish Pokemon, and the final evolved form of Mudkip. It can swim while towing a large ship. It bashes down foes with a swing of its thick, rock-hard arms. With one swing, it can break a boulder into pieces.

I managed to get my hands on a Mudkip and I was so happy ;w; I named him after my 2nd-fave Monsters vs. Aliens character, The Missing Link, or Link for short  

Ditto got Link as a Mudkip when she visited a Kalos adoption center in Lumiose City.  They were having a special sale on Hoenn region Pokemon Eggs and Ditto saw this as a chance to get another Hoenn starter Pokemon. Since he was a runt, Link was very terrified of being surrounded by so many big Pokemon and often hid in his Pokeball.  This timidity carried on even while he evolved into a Swampert, being smaller and weaker than normal Swamperts.

Link now stays out of his Pokeball more often but likes to stick close to Ditto for safety and comfort. He is self conscious about himself and doesn't like to be made fun of, or else he'll retreat back into his Pokeball.  He does have a vain side to him, however, and likes keeping his fins and scales clean and smooth.

Link loves Ditto dearly, since she was the first thing he saw once he hatched, and often believes her to be his mother, making him very protective of her.  He sometimes gets jealous of Blaze and his bond with Ditto but doesn't have the tenacity or courage to confront him about it.  Link will sometimes growl at Blaze when he's nearby, though.

What he lacks in power, Link makes up in speed, especially in the water and most of the other Water-type Pokemon stand no chance in a race against him.

Link is currently at Level 52, has a Bashful Nature, and the Ability, Torrent, which powers up his Water-type moves when he is in trouble. His current moveset is: Protect, Brick Break, Earthquake, and Surf.
