Frankie, my Infernape

Infernape, the Flame Pokemon. It uses a special kind of martial arts involving all its limbs. Its fire never goes out.



Despite Frankie being male, I did have Frankie Foster from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends in mind when I renamed him *He used to be called Sammy until I got Black and named my Serperior that, forgetting I already had a Pokemon by that name * He is from my Diamond version

Frankie is the Starter Pokemon Ditto chose as a Chimchar when she first visited the Sinnoh region. He has a bit of a rivalry going on with her first Pokemon, Blaze and with them being of the same dual-type and using similar moves in battle, they are very competitive and tries to outdo the other often.

When he's not duking it out with Blaze, Frankie is off practicing his punches and kicks and fire attacks. Frankie only tries to be better than Blaze, but keeps his abilities to a minimum against weaker opponents. When he's up against stronger ones, he puts all he's got into the battle in order to win.

He can sometimes be vain and is usually seen picking through his fur after battling, getting rid of any dirt or bugs, or bathing in a river/stream/ocean if they come across one, and polishing the gold plates on his body until they are sparkly clean *Blaze angers him when he purposely throws mud or dirt onto them, making Frankie clean them again more hastily before it happens again*. He also doesn't like having his tail tugged or stepped on. If one does, they can expect to be running for their lives from a Flame Wheel.

Frankie is currently at level 68, has a Modest Nature, and the Ability, Blaze, which powers up Fire-type moves in a pinch.
